looks like he broke it to me, although hard to tell. had nice one on cam that busted everything after g2 on one side on halloween. walked by with full rack, came back hours later with it broke

i had to resize the pic so it is a little fuzzy but when i zoom on it it definitaly wasnt broken, they have 2 little hooks on the right, I would like to see him when im in a stand to scope it out.

Looks genetic...or something happened during growing stages of velvet. If it is genetic that could turn into something really awesome down the road.

he was a traveling buck that i wont see to often i dont think but i would like to see him in a couple years , i love the brow tine length
