Nice story , hope all our kids are that lucky.
Nice post dbltree, great tribute to your dad. Seems like as you get older you start to realize all the things your parents mean to you and have done to help you out in life. I tried for years to get my dad to go deer hunting but he his definately not into cold weather. I finally clued into his hints about turkey hunting and am glad we went last year. I'm no turkey expert by any means but its nice to have the opportunity to show the teacher something. Anyway, when my time comes I hope I go the same way your dad did.
