whats it like hunting in the rain

This morning i got up and their was a steady rain. I was wondering should I still have went out or did i make a smart decision just to stay in? Earliar in the year I went out in similar conditions and didnt see a thing, but it wasn't the rut.

I hardly ever hunt in the rain but I will be in my stand within a few minutes after it stops.The deer seem to get up and move around good after a rain.I have shot deer when it was raining but everything has to be perfect.The blood trail gets washed away as fast as its put down.
