When do deer tags go on sale?

I've asked a lot of people and I've checked several vendors and nobody knows when deer tags go on sale. I can't find it on the DNR site. Does anyone know when the tags go on sale?
 
Don't quote me on this but ti is either August 15th or Sept.15th.I am not for sure though.
 
I appreciate the info. The guys at Scheels told me this week or next week. I checked tonight but they're not on sale yet.
 
I've got the '04 regs downloaded on my work computer...but I'm pretty sure they said August 13. Just call it State Fair time.
 
August 15th. It's on page 6 of this year's fall regs and license instructions.

First come first served for the licenses.
 
I wasn't positive on the date but I knew it was one of the two.Thanks 150
 
I appreciate it. I was in a hurry and was looking through the regs at Scheels too fast and must have missed it. One of the Scheel's employees was absolutely certain that it was going to happen this week on Friday. That's why I asked because I had heard conflicting dates.

Hey 150 just downloaded the regs myself.Gonna be nice to have here and not losin em everytime I go out.
