Whisker Biscuit accuracy past 20 yds....Way past

sweet! I had an opportunity at a big buck at 55 yards last November. Clear broadside shot. I figured if i did hit him the arrow wouldnt penetrate far enough to kill the deer. So i thought id just wait til next time. Never seen him the rest of the year. Good or bad decision?

Good decision to pass IMO. Too much can go wrong on a shot like that with an alert whitetail especially, although those shots are taken all of the time on antelope, mule deer, and elk out west. A mature whitetail is the hardest animal to hunt IMO and this is even proven when hunting them out of a ground blind and their reluctance to accept an unbrushed in blind, where as Double Bull admits that the other above animals I posted could care less about the blind. A whitetails senses are just too good IMO to take 50 plus yd shots at with a bow.
