I recently put a whisker biscuit on my bow. I shoot aluminum arrows and when I draw back, it seems a bit loud when the arrow rubs on the whiskers. Would it be quieter if I swithced to carbon arrows? Thanks.
I shoot carbons and I don't have a noise problem. The hole in ther center of the disc is bigger for aluminum arrows than for carbon. I am not sure but you may need to get a new disc for the carbons.
Has anyone ever had trouble ice on the biscuit? Seems like if there was a wet snow or rain then cooled down they would freeze up an throw the arrow out of wack. Just wondering.
