windy and rainy day ?

This weekends weather sounds like it is going to be rainy and windy. I haven't got a lot of turkey hunting experience so I was wondering what you guys do differently. Do you stay in the bottoms out of the wind? Will they still come out into the fields off of the roost or should I be in the timber a little bit? I'll take any tips.

Wind is worse than rain in my opinion, but you can kill turkeys in both conditions. Wind makes it tougher to pinpoint their location. One of the best tips I'd give is if it rains and you aren't out hunting, be ready to get out there the minute that it quits...turkeys like to hit the open fields and pastures once the rain stops.
