Winter Food Plot Use - Wow

Went up to my land on Sunday to check cameras. Wasn't expecting to see much deer sign as usually by Mid-January there is two feet of snow and the deer have moved on to heavy cover. This year I was very disappointed in the deer sightings while hunting and was thinking that all the work I have been putting into the land wasn't doing much good. Well after Sunday my thoughts have changed. I don't know where all these deer were during hunting season but by the deer sign in the food plot I must have half the deer in Langlade County using them.

T Tom: That is exactly what my soybean plot looks like in MN, they finished off the last few beans just recently, I watched roughly 15-25 deer parade into it in the late season, shot a doe, but no bucks besides some real small ones.

Turkeys and pheasants used it as well.

Wow I would say your hard work is paying off. Maybe next time you check it there will be some sheds waiting there for you.
