Wondering hens

So far in one weekend of hunting, I've called in two hens by them selves. It seemes where i'm hunting, the turkey's are feeding more than strutting, or even gobbling. One as they fly down, they head right for a corn field. It seems they're not very intrested in the hens. And also the toms aren't very vocal at all when there down on the ground. They pretty much shut up after they fly down. We are having all sorts or problems, and I was just wondering if you guys were cursing at the turkeys too?

I called in a lone hen yesterday afternoon. Got her to fly across an oxbow and land about 30 yards away. She fed for a while and drifted away. No toms to be found. That wind was terrible! Good luck.
