hand carved out of tupelo gum and basswood. Painted with acrylics. Tree is carved. Everything is 'made'. Dirt is kitty litter crushed up. Leaves and grass are made from brown paper grocery sacks.

A guy named Marc Berger did the carving. It took him just over a year working on it full time. He estimated that it took 2 million strokes with a burning pen to do the burning alone. The rub was not made by an animal. He carved it also. The guy is from Wisconsin and word is he would like to show it at some deer shows or maybe the Texas Trophy Hunters. No current price, but everything is for sale.
