Hey troups,
Here's a question I'm not sure on. I have an 8 year old son who is becoming something of a dead-eye with my Ruger 10-22. I see squirrel season opens this Saturday, and I'd love to take him out and get his first squirrel, but I'm not sure if he needs to be old enough for a hunter safety course or not. I know he can get a youth season deer tag before age 12, but can he also hunt squirrels as long as I'm with him? Ghost...I think you've been through this (remember a couple of priceless photos), so maybe you'll be able to help, but anyone else who knows for sure I'd appreciate the information. Thanks.
