Youth season question

If my younger brother was to get a shotgun youth tag to hunt the youth season, could he shoot a muzzleloader or is he limited to shotgun only? I have always been told that you can take a muzzleloader while shotgun hunting during the regular seasons, just wondering what the law actually states. Thanks guys

Yes he can use a muzzleloader. You can use a muzzleloader in any of the gun seasons.

Thats what I thought. Rather safe than sorry though.

When he buys a youth tag it isn't weapon specific...he can use any weapon that's legal. Could even fill the youth tag with a bow if during the September part of the season. Good luck :way:
