Youth Season Question

On August 15 I will turn 16. And as most of you know thats the same day you can buy licenes and tags. I was just wondering if I can go youth hunting this year? If I buy my license that day. I already have a habitat stamp.

I have looked at the book and I cant find a good clean cut answer.

A CO told me once that if the system issues a tag, it's valid, even if the season dates are misprinted. It will be interesting whether the ELISA system will issue you a youth license, but my guess is no.

This is a good question, but I'd have to guess you won't be able to. You turn 16 at midnight officially, so even if you tried to buy your tag at 12:01, I would have to think it'd deny it. It is certainly worth a shot though...good luck :way:
