Hey, you forgot to add compound bows to your list of weapons that made deer hunting EASIER. Seems these are always left out when talking about weapons that made deer hunting easier, wonder why?

Not following how the age structure will be impacted, am I missing something? Before the change if a LO had a tag and it was getting towards the end of the season and they were waiting on the big boy that doesn't show, how many went ahead and filled the tag with a younger deer?

Why does everyone assume EVERY anysex tag is used only on bucks? Lot of people that party hunt are hunting for deer meat, not trophies. I think some people get QDM mixed up with Trophy Deer Management?

Not every locker automatically keeps every rack and stores it with the meat unless you specifically request it. Most lockers will remove the antlers or head when you drop it off so they don't have to deal with it, unless it's getting caped.

Guess I've never heard the reason for two weekends during second season was for working people? I thought the reason for a longer second season was because the deer could be scattered from already being hunted first season so they give the option for second season to be longer to try and spread...

Ask your local salebarn because this time of year they might have a person who brings hay to the sale barn to sell.

Just curious, did you specifically tell the locker to save your antlers for you? Unless it's specifically included in how you wanted your deer processed, I could possible see the person processing your deer throwing it in the pile like they do others not marked as keeping?

So landowners feed and house the deer year around so you can hunt them a few weeks out of the year, but they don't deserve anything for doing that? Who owns these large plots of land you're talking about?

Very nice buck and like already been said, lockers don't lose antlers. Someone saw them laying there and took them.
