Congrats! Got my first Turkey with a bow last year,its an awesome feeling!

Went out checking stands and putting up a few new ones on Sunday. I found a few fresh rubs, but no scrapes yet. Seen a 135 inch in velvet yet on Sunday also. I was amazed to find rubs this early, I must say it is the earliest I ve ever found some.

Just picked up my new Ar 34 last week and I just love it! Cant wait for fall to put a big one down with it! Anyone else shooting an AR?

Just wondering if anyone out there has shot the Browning Eclipse SLX? I'm kinda interested in looking in to them. Any input would be appreciated. EJBuck

From my experience you can't go wrong with an API. I own several different brands of treestands and the APIs are the only ones I haven't had a problem with.

Has anyone heard who will be giving seminars at the festival this year? I looked on the IBA's website and they have down Willie Suchy, but the rest are TBD. Any info would help. EJBuck

After shooting Gold tip carbons now for three seasons I wouldn't shoot anything else. I always shot well with aluminums but they don't have the durability Gold tips do. After the season I usually just have to get my arrows refletched and thats about it. And at that price you can't go wrong...

Check out the Iowa bowhunters Association's web site. They have all the shoots listed for the entire year in Iowa. Also they usually have directions to the shoots and prices to shoot. Hope this helps! EJBuck ------------------ Double Lung UM
