That happened to me 2 years ago. It made for a really long rest of the season. Shot a few does while watching some really great bucks walk by. It sucked!!!

I was down in West Liberty last week hunting pheasant and the outfitter that owns the ground had us stay out of a block of CRP because he had a 1 1/2 old hot doe dragging a couple of bucks around with her. I was shocked to hear that.

I have to agree. I shoot rage and never have any issues with them but my son is shooting fixed blade. I talked with my local pro shop and they said unless you're shooting a bow generating above 60ft lbs of kinetic energy you should always shoot fixed blade. The rage will loose some of its energy...

Gun is sold

I got permission to hunt them. The family that owns them live close to me and I all ready hunt thier farm in the Cedar Rapids area.

This farm is east off Fremont just east of the county line.

So I just picked up a couple farms around the Fremont area. Was wondering if anyone hunts around there and what the numbers look like. Trying to decide if it would be worth making the drive to check it out and hunt it this year or if I should just wait till next year.

I have a 3x9 and hunt with it on 4x. I only turn it up to sight the gun in.

I have the Evo and I love it! There is a real difference in the feel of the 2 bows you are looking at. I am partial to the feel of dual cam vs single cam bows. Both will perform well. The DNA will be faster by far.

I have a stainless steel Omega with a laminate wood stock I would like to sell. The gun is in great shape and the stock is brand new. It has stainless scope rings and base that come with it. I will try to post a picture this afternoon. I would like to get $300 for it. PM me if your interested.

Had a great sit tonight. Went out to shoot a doe for a family I know that really needs the meat. Didn't see one doe but seen 7 bucks including one that I shot 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Tracked him for over 400 yards and lost the blood trail. I hit him way forward. He didn't present me with a shot...
