I got this nice looking ten on camera last year.
Rumor had it a guy had shot this deer early in bow season. I helped the guy track it and all and watched as the blood trail dryed up to nothing. Then around Thanksgiving a different guy called me up saying he had shot a nice ten point. So once...
You know that feeling when you walk up to your trail camera and your bait has been absolutly destroyed.... I mean there is not a kernal of corn on the ground. It feels great and you just know you got at least one good buck on camera. Well I had this happen today except... It wasnt the deer that...
Chris i did notice his leg. i have seen 3 different deer in this spot with the same injury over the past two years.
PY i dont think he looks that skinny, but he could very possibly be an older deer like i said i have no previous history with him.
Teach that is corn
I just checked my cameras, and although I did get pictures of one nice shooter buck, something else caught my eye. I had three nice 8 points with huge potentail.
First off is a buck i do not recognize but im guessing he is a 2 year old. He has good brows and a good frame to pack on the inches...
I dont think they are the same deer. i dont have the perfect pic but none of the 12 pics i have of the second buck show the split. the cameras are a little over two miles apart. anybody got a guess on score?
Well I havent had a chance to hunt the bottoms the last couple of years due to the flooding. But finally with the lack of rain this year I finally get to turn my attention to those ellusive big bottom bucks. I dont have any previous history with either of these bucks.
This first Pic is of a buck...
Good looking deer josh I'm thinking he is a 4.5 year old but he is 3.5 look out you will have a booner walkin around. I thing he will go between 155 and 165. I got 152 gross with conservative scoring
Yes salt also looks white but this is ground corn. First off I don't understand why it matters what it is. A guy asked what it was and I told him trust me I know what I'm talking about. Ground corn is white because 90% of a kernal of corn is white.
Thats just ground corn. We have a huge pile of it we use to feed the cows. I take a 50lb bag for each of my cameras every week. The deer love it plus im pretty sure it is better for the deer because it is easier for them to digest.
First up is a buck a call the Kicker Ten. This is a bad picture to guess age but I think its a good picture. I know he wont score high at all but i feel he is 4.5 yr old based on his body size and his brisket.
This is a better body shot of Kicker Ten
This is Big Splitter. I posted him on her a...
So with all this rain and sunshine we had last week I had a tall weed grow right infront of my trail camera. When I was going through my pictures I could see it growing with every new pictures so i was pretty upset. It was covering my flash and taking my pictures out of focus.
Luckly I...
Thank you I pride myself on having perfect pictures. Theres nothing i hate more than a picture of a buck buck with the top of his tines chopped off. Ive found the best camera height is 3-5 feet high and make sure your scrape or corn piles is 5 yards from the tree or post you are hanging your...
Cant beat that! I Bet he comes close to 190 if not break it. The best part about it is he is a good looking deer( High score with just the right amount of junk to make it look nice).
