Im going to do the soil tests and fertilize as needed next year, I am thinking that was the biggest problem, just didnt want to throw away alot of $ in fertilizer if it wouldnt do anygood on a hill side. as far as errosion goes.... Im not to worried about it unless we had an unusual amount of...
Well as this is my first season for plots, it didnt go that great, only about half my plots are looking ok still. what grew in my bean plots is pretty much bare dirt at this point. One because there wasnt enough there to began with and the deer wiped it out, but only about 25% grew to began...
It means thank your lucky stars, one of my farms had 7 different bucks this year all between 130-150 that had there entire right side busted off. What does that mean?
I'm not familiar with the bullets your using, but some brands simply won't group out of some guns. If you've always used them and no that's not the problem, I would be getting a new scope first and foremost. Even if it was on earlier the internal of a scope can go out at random. Although its...
I shot a Knight disc extreme for 6-7 years myself, It put down 19 of 20 deer shot with it, and alot of Big bucks, I think big bucks were attracted to it. Then I retired it last year and upgraded to a TC. I know there great guns but Ive had nothing but problems with it and it cost me a good buck...
I hope your just pissed, and will be back, Im getting more and more in to coyote hunting but know almost nothing. You seem to have a wealth of knowledge on the topic. Id like to know more.
Ok, so this is my first year going into late muzzy with food plots. I have some pretty sad looking bean plots, some turnip patches, and some rye and clover plots. for the most part they are all somewhat intertwined, but if you were to look at it on google earth it looks somewhat like a maze a...
I believe they are all between 50-60 grams. And if I remember right regular nocks will be anywhere from 20-30. So there all about double. I shoot a DXT at 70lbs and out to 50yds I have found no difference in shooting them.
Nockturnals all the way! I always thought there should have been a better design for lighted knocks when they first came out and now there is.
The only negative about them would be target shooting with them, they can be a little tricky to turn off at times. But they never fail turning on...
Oh I have that beat.......kinda. We use this setup in our cabin in MN over the winter. Only we use antifreeze instead of water. one so it doesnt freeze in the winter and 2 it keeps the smell down from dozens of dead mice rotting in the bucket. Of course its there all winter so the half full...
187 but alot of the right side has been repaired and rebuilt. The 8 with split 3s is actually bigger.
Dominator - that buck of yours is huge and looks awesome.
If you dont get it fixed and have to use the backup gun, I wouldnt risk taking a blind in on a days notice if its an almost sure thing these bucks are coming out every night. At most I would just brush myself in with the natural surroundings on this terrace you speak of. Hand fulls of grass and...
