    Switch grass?

Awesome looking grass. Can I ask what brand/mix that was planted?

Illegal to intentionally screw with someone's hunt?

It's gonna be pretty hard for neighbor 2 to stay 200 yards away from 1's house if he only has 30 acres. That sucks.

camera best bang for your buck

You're supposed to be able to do it online, but we struggled. We called customer service and it was a breeze. Operating the camera is easy and I'm pretty technologically challenged. I can tell you it's a blast getting deer pics on my phone all day long.

camera best bang for your buck

Just got a Spartan GoCam Cellular. It uses Verizon. I added it to my existing plan for $5 a month. I can change settings from my phone or PC. Uses 12 Lithium batteries and I also got the 6 volt solar charger. I'm about 1000 pics into it and so far I love it.

    Good muzzy buck

Shot this buck Sunday the 28th. Haven't filled a tag since 2010, so it was good to finally get a shot at a mature deer. Especially when NR tags are $600. Taxi has him at 4.5 years. 6" bases and grosses right around 160. Shot him on my buddy's 80 acre farm in Monona county. He runs a lot of...

    Planning an elk hunt

Been going to Colorado hunting since the late 70's. We've hunted rifle, ML, archery, early, late, cold, hot, rain, mud, snow and hail. Sometimes we even get one. We always go self guided, public land. What kind of shape are you in? How old are you? How high can you reasonably hunt? Self guided...

    Help!

You could talk to your uncle about it. Maybe he could be persuaded to lay down some "rules" for next year that would get you out of this tough spot.

Just never know about these whitetails!!

In the past, I had a couple terrible experiences with Power Belt bullets. Have since switched to Hornady. What type bullet were you shooting?

    Coltons P&Y

Awesome buck. When things get a little slow in the blind, my daughter and I have picture contests as well. Best picture of a bird, best picture of a deer, duck, turkey, etc... It's a lot of fun and keeps her focused.

    Iowa Someday?????

I'll help you out a little. Look in the western part of the state. Monona and Harrison counties have some large tracts of public ground that hold a lot of nice bucks.

    Giant Nontyp by Miss. Valley

I received a pic of a giant nontypical killed North of Mo. Valley. It's big enough that I don't feel comfortable posting the picture without permission. It appears from the pic that it could score in the upper 200's. Has anyone else seen this beast? Looks like close to 30 scorable points with 3...

    Great hunt! 10/7 (pic heavy)

I'm gonna go with "Cornhusker". They look like big ten material but, if you look really close, you can see the junk.

EHD in Manona or Harrison county?

My buddy found 3 last weekend including a 150" buck. All were near or in his pond. He's right in the middle of Monona Co. He's up there today walking his property. Film at 11:00. JK, I'll let you know what he finds.

    January Rut

Went shed hunting up North of Moorehead on Sat. morning with some buddies. At about 7:45 we saw a 170 class buck locked down with a doe in a cornfield. She tried to get to the timber twice and he cut her off both times. A mile down the road we see another decent buck locked down with a doe in...
