I'd bet you're talking about the Timber Ghost buck that is making it's rounds again....I've received it three times this week. No record, just a big deer shot inside a fence.
I guess it explains a lot with him wearing all that Hawkeye gear. Sorry, just had to throw that out there.
This guy is a real piece of work. Hopefully someone with the right connections can put a stop to this.
Can't complain. The entry hole was much larger than I would have imagined. I made a quartering to shot (never do that again) but the Rage 2 blade did enough damage to enable me to make the recovery. The only problem I've had is that a few that I have that are a year old now....the O-ring does...

I agree!!!
Shot this Friday evening bow hunting in MO. Only been bow hunting for three years so I'm really proud of this buck. Not proud of the shot though.....quartering-to. Live and learn I guess. I know I'll never take that shot again. We tracked him for about 3/4 of a mile through two draws and...
I've got the same problem, except there are also a couple of bulls in the group. Let me just say it's not much fun walking in to your stand and running into one of them...
This year I am going to start processing my own deer. I ran into some bad luck with the locker last year and would like to try it myself. Does anyone have any diagrams that show where the cuts need to be made or any advice on how to make the process smoother? Thanks.
The renters of the house only rent the house, no land. There is also a crop lease on the property and we have had problems with the farmer giving permission to others to hunt too. But I have asked the land owner and no one has hunting rights as part of the lease agreements.
Yesterday I was on the only property I have been given permission from the owner to hunt checking a trail cam and found a treestand put up by someone other than me. I am the only person that has permission to hunt here, but there is a rented house on the property. Surprisingly enough, the new...
Thanks for the help guys!! I actually found mine for a little under $60 a piece (brand new). I figure any cam is better than no cam. I messed around with it at home and the trigger speed is fast.....supposedly under 1 sec.
Hopefully I'll be posting some new pics soon that look similar to...
Does anyone or has anyone used the Bushnell Trail Sentry. I got a really good deal on a couple of them and am going to put them out this weekend. Any feedback (good or bad) is appreciated. Thanks.
Received these pictures in an email today so not quite sure on the story. But needless to say, deer are some tough animals!!! Look at the bump between the nose and eye.
With the warm weather right around the corner and daylight savings time this weekend, I thought I'd share my best crappie from last spring. It measures out at 17.5 inches and weighted in at 3 lbs (freshly spawned unfortunately). It was caught on a public lake near KC. Can't wait to start...
