I shot this deer Saturday afternoon with my Ruger Vaquero in 45 LC. I was using a 255 grain Semiwadcutter and 8 grains of Win 231. The deer went under 100 yds from a double lung shot. Jack

Yes Tall Tines All we have on the farm are spikes and 4 pointers. With a few 6 pointers thrown in.

I would say different. look at the G-3 on each deer and the angle the g-3 makes to the main beam. Jack p.s. but what would I know about big racks. on the farm I hunt, they are all spikes or 4 pointers.

A 10 pointer I took a week ago on a drive around the back roads. He was about 200 yds from the road so the picture is cropped pretty good. I could see the rack good with the binoculars. A nice 8 with tall brows. The pic was taken a few weeks ago after sundown a few miles from the other...

I was wondering if anybody knew what the buck dressed out at. From the pictures, it looked like a pretty big body. Jack p.s. sofar this season I have shot some does and small bucks....... with my camera. I haven't seen anything big in the woods or driving around in close to a month. Jack

So that big nontyp looks uncomfortable. Send him past my blind in Oct. and I will put him out of his misery !!! At least I would try. With a deer like that walking by, the trees near him would probably be in more danger !!! Jack
