I had a Vortex skyline and now a Vortex Razor. Very good glass. You should also think about straight or angled. Straight is more intuitive, but angled is more versatile.
Anything mounted directly to your bow will not capture the shot itself. The bow has too much vibration to get any sort of usable footage. At least all of them that I have watched anyways. For pre, post shot though it should be fine.
I just got a Foxpro Wildfire and have never hunted yotes before, but want to give it a shot. What does your typical sequence consist of as far as what sounds and the duration? Like what do you start with and how long followed by this sound and length etc. Also, if you have any tips on what to...
I think the most consistently accurate blackpowder muzzy right now, that I have seen on other forums, is the Accura V2. There are ways to fix the blowback on the Knight's as well. You could always go smokeless too.
Remington Kleanbore muzzleloader primers would hang fire roughly 50% of the time in my Disc Extreme. I switched to Federal 209A primers and it's been flawless. When using BH209 you will want to take a 1/8" (for Knight's I know) drill bit and, spinning by hand, clean the flash channel in your...
I used red and green nokturnals this year. They were a little lose in my shafts so I just used a grocery bag to make them tight. I pretty much practiced with them all fall. I had one break in the "on" position and the light has been on for 3 weeks now. It's very dim now but I can still see it...
Is this the one with a floating pin?
You should do a search on archerytalk. I looked into this sight like a year ago and there was a lot of people having problems with them. Problems like the movable pin would move after every shot (not repeatable) and some others I can't recall. I went with a...
Todd- Do ever use the LW strap that has the hook and you just hang the stand from the hook? I have been using that as well as a lower strap on the stand and find it faster and much easier than having to hold up the stand while putting the strap around the tree and on the versa button. After...
Had the week off as well, but decided to come in due to the forecast. Now I'm looking out the window and it hasn't rained for 2 hrs. now. Little upset by the forecast.
Since on the rattleing topic, what is your guys' sequence involve? Doe bleats, grunts and then rattle? Aggressive grunts, pretending to be 2 different bucks and 1 doe? Just thought it might help some of us out knowing this.
