Hey everyone- I killed this guy on December 13 during 2nd Shotgun Season. I figured since the harvest reports have slowed down a bit, I would post hime on here. The Buck has been green scored at 239 gross non-typical. It has 29 scorable points and the drop tine measured 11 inches. He also scored 190 gross typical as a main-frame 10 point. The 60 day drying period is up on Feb 13 so we will have to wait to see where he finishes. Pictures don't really do him justice and you can't really see the mass. I plan to take him to the Whitetail Classic in Des Moines also. I have been hunting a lot of years for one like this and I finally had my shot.

THA4 - Far cry from reality. If you havn't seen it in person, don't write that stuff. It scored 239. I was there. There are 29 points and Its main frame scored 190, then add 11 inches for the drop and you are already over 200. Thats eleven of the scorable. Now lets just say that each of the remaining 18 points are only one inch. Thats 219 right there. And I promise that some of those are up to 4 inches. The pics don't do it justice. But I swear, it is reality.

That one does look like it could be very deceiving from a scoring perspective. It's got a lot going on in many of different areas.

Tremendous deer, congratulations and thanks for giving us a peek at him.

All I see are red x's. Can somebody post the pictures directly to the site? Please!

They are posted directly to the site. I screwed up the first time and saw the red x's, but they are gone now and the pics are up. Sorry that you can't see them.
