An hour of walking today and zero success. I think it might be a little early for the Ames area, but I had to get out and look with rain in the forecast the rest of the week. I'll do some peaking around at home this weekend in the south central part of the state.

Found these tonight. About three lbs. Found them along the south edge of my timber. I was amazed at the size for this time of year.
