ideal rut conditions? We're pretty close to normal this weekend and next week, only off a couple degrees

I should clarify. My opinion of "ideal rut conditions" is 10 degrees or more below the average temps for the time of year...with frontal swings that can put deer on their feet.

You're right that we do have some good weather this weekend, but it looks like it all goes back to crap after that (at least in central IA)...but who knows....hard to predict weather accurately past a few days anyway.

lows in the lower 40's and 30's will still make for good mornings and evenings
