Big catch for the weekend

Brother and I are out right now. I'll get pictures posted later. First time I've trapped in a few years and I forgot how much fun it is. Time to put deer on the back burner again!

Got the first two beavers from two weeks ago out of the freezer Saturday. Weighed 49.8lbs and 14lbs.
Caught one more this weekend too. 24lbs.
Skinning them wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, which is nice because freezing them whole wasn't going to work very well.

I froze the first two right after I caught them, sold the big one on the carcass whole to a taxidermist. The little one I unthawed and skinned last night and the 3rd one I skinned right away. I didn't tube them out, made a cut on their their belly side from teeth all the way down to the tail.

Biggest the old trapper guy here ever trapped was 98 lbs !!!!!! Unreal!!
