Won't matter if you spray gly before or after planting. Might try burning the dead thatch ahead of time to get better seed to soil contact. Can't quite see in the picture, but looks like some of the weeds are broadleaf that are likely resistant to gly.Awesome. I'm assuming I should spray first and then plant to be safe or does it not matter?
Also, how do you determine how much thatch is too much? I don't really have a way to scrape any of the thatch off due to the plots location. The field I'm planting has been grassses for years so there is quite a bit of thatch coverage (Can see bare dirt if you look closely, but it is mostly covered)View attachment 130121
