soil PH home kit?

Anybody know of a way to make your own soil ph kit by using the ph paper or something like that?

I thought about the same thing but all that would do is give you the pH and no reccomendation on NKP levels or what ever else a "send it in" kit can tell you.

Just as a control I might try it and compare my home test pH to the "send it in" result. Now all I gotta do is find my pH paper. It has been a few years since I've seen it.
