Would this scare you?

i can see this happening as you walk up to it but why do so many people haul them around before gutting them?? we have never put a deer in a pickup before gutting.

Usually it's because they don't want to leave the guts near their hunting spot to attract predators, or spook other deer (not sure if that actually happens). And some people like to hang deer as they are gutting, letting gravity do the "hard" work and not have to bend over as much!
 
I'm just paranoid enough that I'm never comfortable with that deer being dead until the guts are 15 feet away from the body. Anyone who has been around me while walking up to a deer can attest to that... that and I dry heave 85% of the time while gutting.

Next time call me. I would be more than happy to help out. I don't often get the chance to cut something I don't have to sew back up. :D:D:D
