It seems as though I see far more action in the mornings but of the deer that I've killed the majority have come in the late afternoon. But my overall opinion is that its a crap shoot!
I wouldn't say that TV has "ruined" hunting necessarily but it hasn't done ton of good for it. I'll start by saying that it has continued the sport and popularized it and I think that it gets younger kids into it because kids idolize what they see on TV. I am afraid it is hurting it; however...
Hmm, I may settle for another bag target then. Buddy of mine bought a Glen Del last year. I love the 3D because it helps me visualize real scenarios much better, but I didn't like his target and its falling apart already. I just don't have $200+ to spend on a top quality target though.
I am looking to buy a 3D buck target to practice with. Obviously Glen Del is the first name that comes to mind but I have heard that you pay a lot for the name. What are your guys opinions on quality targets around or below $100?
That is insane! I laughed to myself because the first thought I pictured was of them becoming big bucks (if they indeed are) and trying to fight with each other hahaha
So as many of you know I've been watching this buck grow all summer, its been very cool because he is around almost every day. He isn't the biggest buck out there but for this property he is a shooter that I would be proud of. Last time I checked cams I decided to move one to a trial that I...
I'm going with the rest of the pack and saying around 3.5. He looks scrawny in last years photo and a more mature buck would be much larger looking especially since the rut was just winding down. Mass this year looks great and his future potential is definitely promising.
I can't wait until October gets here and it can't come fast enough! I got a few of my favorite sheds out tonight just to look at, get a fix, and compare trail cam pics to lol please tell me I'm not the only one this crazy!
