I'd say he's about 5.5, look at that pot belly and neck already, definitely not 3.5 IMO

I've got a few younger bucks that look tipped out and a couple more mature bucks that are a tad bit swollen on their G3's and main beams still. I'd say some are done now and the rest will finish up in the next couple of weeks.

How far from CB are you willing to drive? I live there too and travel up to Harrison county to hunt and know of few good pieces of public ground that I've hunted on. One of which actually boarders some of my families property.

Great pics! That one that is wanting to go 6x6 looks like his G2's are wanting to fork also, great potential with another year or two there! Oh and those brow tines on that last buck :eek: I would seek out permission there!

It's really tough to tell age without a full body shot and I'm no pro at guessing score but with depending on his non-typ stuff in there and anything else we can't see I'd venture to guess he'll be pushing 170's around. Great mass!

I pulled cards on Saturday and had a few bucks from last year finally show up. The first picture is of a buck that I named Gunslinger last year. He was a 2 1/2 year old up and coming stud 10 point last year (I don't have any pics right off hand) that I had a few encounters with during the season...

My only fear is that, since I boarder public ground on one side and heavily hunted ground on another, he won't make it to be bigger and more unique! My families property is a tough place to make the call :confused:

Every year when hunting magazines come out with the new gear it gets more advanced and more advantageous for the hunter. Seeing this post makes me wonder if we will ever get too great of an advantage to the point where more laws are passed to keep hunting a fair chase and kill.
