I noticed that too. I'm not sure what the deal is. First thought was that he caught a sniff of something since the picture was taken about 1 hour after I hung the camera but your guess is as good as mine.

I had another camera (film version) down the trail about 75 yards so I'm hoping he shows up on that as well. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks.

Finally scored a good pic from the digital built by Vman. This is my first picture of this buck and I'd love to have a shot at him this fall.

I'm likely going to give up on shotgun season as well and go with a late muzzeloader buck tag.

Here's a couple of bucks from the trail cam. The buck in the back is hard to see but he's there. I got this picture on 6/23. When does antler growth stop? Is this guy about as big as he's gonna get? I can't figure out how to make this picture bigger so any help would be appreciated.

Any good suggestions for a broadhead sharpener? I'm leaning towards the Montec Sportsman Stick. I currently shoot Snypers but am getting tired of buying new blades and would like to be able to put a good edge on without spending $20 on new blades.

I'm in. First year of bowhunting only and it's fun but frustrating. Have had plenty of birds close enough for the scatter gun, but not for the bow.Hopefully the birds will cooperate this weekend. Maybe the budha will help.

What does everyone shoot for draw weight? I'm looking at a bow (Vipertec) that has a 50-60# range, however my current bow is setup somewhere between 60-70#. How much speed and/or KE would I be giving up moving down to a 60# max?

I tried one for about a month but ended up being more comfortable with a regular peep. I seemed to have problems focusing on the pins rather then checking the circle on the "no-peep". If you're thinking about getting one I'll sell you mine. Just send me a pm.
