Finally scored myself a DB Blind (IP5) and was wondering how/where most of you set them up. The majority of the spots I turkey hunt the birds head out to open fields. Can I just set it up in the field or would I be better off setting it against the edge? Also, do you guys hunt with the windows...
Just wondering how many had used the Import 5 vs. the T5. I'm going to get one before turkey season and am thinking I'd like to save the $100 on the Import 5. Any thoughts would be appreciated.Thanks.
I've got a set of rubber boots with hole in them. I've tried using a patching kit but the hole is right on top and in the crease that's created when you walk. Any other ideas?
I was also selected an experienced similar results. I saw more deer this year than previous years and I think alot of it had to do with the "Ghost". Great stuff and I'd recommend it to anyone.
I've never used the V-bracket. I usually just carry the strap for the tree in my pocket and then hang it on the hook. I've never used the second strap on the versa button but I've heard it makes the stand even more secure.
Thanks for the info. I was leaning towards the T5 w/ the black interior. I'm hoping to take some friends that don't hunt out this spring to see if I can get them hooked.
I'm looking to get a new stabilizer for Christmas and wanted some opinions on length/brand. The one currently on my bow is ~ 10 in long and difficult to hunt with since it hits just about everything around.
did those of you with a treesuit use it before getting really comfortable with the concept. I used it for the first time hunting tonight and I'm not sure if it's for me. Any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated.
I've only been out 3 or 4 times and have had a number of deer show up on the downwind side and not spook while using the "Ghost" spray. I plan on giving it a good test this weekend. Good stuff.
