Just a little rant. If you are squirrel hunting and see a truck in the parking lot be courteous and please go to another spot. I understand it is public hunting but there is a thing about being respectful to other hunters in the area. Rant over.
My buddy is selling a brand new set of Muddy climbing sticks. They are still in the box and he is looking for $100. If interested I can get you his number. He lives in Mason city.
I have to be in Cedar Rapids next week for work meetings and was wondering if there is any ranges to shoot at? I will be out of the meetings by 330 with nothing to do and would like to get some shooting in. Thanks
Just thought I would throw this out there. I am looking for some offshore planer boards and some trolling rods in good shape. I bought a new boat and keeping all the stuff I have in my dad's boat so I need to stock up the new one. Just seeing what is out there. Thanks
I shot this buck last Wednesday afternoon. I have always loved and wanted to shoot a good 8. I did a hang and hunt on some public ground around 10 am. After setting up I started seeing deer immediately. Saw about 6 bucks 130" and under and about 6 does. Around 1:30 I saw 1 broken off shooter...
I bought the Sitka Tool Bucket and I really didn't like the design. I love Sitka clothes but this damn thing isn't what I thought it would be. I thought the stand carrying system would be great but way to many straps and takes way to long to attach everything. Anyone else have one if these...

Anyone have any info or know this guy who killed this huge whitetail this past weekend on early muzzleloader opener? I got this off Campfire Stories web page and they say it is legit and not pen raised. If it is legit congratulations to Ben on a monster whitetail.
I was just seeing if anybody out there can give me any info if Sitka is worth the money. I am looking at the Fanatic bibs and jacket and it has a steep price tag on it but I need some new bow hunting gear. I don't mind spending the money if it is worth it and I don't want to go another year in...
I had just returned from Nebraska on Thursday night and decided since I had Friday off I would get my first Iowa hunt in. After all the rain on Thursday I thought the birds might be ready for a sunny day. The morning was sunny but also windy and cold. I didn't hear any birds gobbling on roost...
Just got back from my first western Nebraska Merriam hunt. Hunting was tough with rain, wind, and snow. Birds were hen'd up bad and not responding to calls at all. We just had to sit and wait out birds and hope to get some flocks to walk by us. We ended up getting 4 toms out if one valley. My...
My cousin was just sent the new DSD Buck decoy and let me say Dave made a great looking decoy. The price tag is a little large for me right now but he got his for free. I have a boss Buck and have had great success with it. I guess we will see what decoy performs better this year.
I have looked at scopes to put on my new Thompson Pro hunter but cant decide. I have Nikon optics for everything else but looking for some insite on what other people might recomend.
