Anyone know what the current poll standings are at the fair? I saw it online the first day and Romney was way ahead. I can't find it anywhere online now. Interesting to see though....

Blows my mind when I see people say that there isn't any difference. Romney is a capitalist, Obama is a socialist. Couldn't be more difference in the world.

I have never been in love with Romney, I planned to vote against Obama rather than for Romeny if that makes sense. I can actually begin to feel pretty good about the ticket with Ryan on there. I have been reading a lot of things he said and watching some videos and man he really has it together. He is going to make Biden look like a dipstick in the debates.

I don't think anyone needs to "be in love with Ronney". We arent Obama voters- they r the ones that voted & believed in a "political God". Other side doesn't think like that and always keeps pressure on "politicians" as we know they are just men & politics is crooked in nature. Conservatives are inherently different than Obama-bot Kool-aid Liberals.

I don't have one thing positive to say about Obama and his socialist agenda... once the takers out number the makers, there's no going back! If Obama gets four more years, this may as well be his slogan!

That bumper sticker is hilarious!!! That is exactly what I think John Boehner and Eric Cantor do to the rest of the country every time they tell us it's for our own good!! Huh. what irony!!! Keep 'em comin! BTW I voted for Obama even though the NRA SWORE if he got elected I would lose my guns and hunting priveliges. Guess what folks, just legally picked up another fire arm (savage model 220F!) last month and intend too whack a few deer with it this season.
Not sure when I have to give up my guns (probably have to surrender them at time of death).
Look, all I'm saying is don't believe everything your lobbyists and state reps are telling you. Trust but verify...
just sayin

MORE EVIDENCE that Obama administration WANTS Americans Dependent on the government EVEN though THEY KNOW IT IS NOT in Americans long term best interest!

Making Americans dependent OK..
The food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.
About 46.514 million Americans received aid, up from 46.286 million in November, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said today in an e-mail. Participation was 5.5 percent higher than a year earlier.
No one should go hungry in America. FNS provides children and low-income people access to food, a healthful diet, and nutrition education. We help nearly one in four people. Check out our programs to see if we can help you or your family.

Making Animals Dependent NOT OK!
Meanwhile, the Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to "please do not feed the animals" because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.

"Please remember that feeding wildlife encourages “begging” and dependency on humans.
The larger the animal, the more assertive animals become in demanding food from humans. Always use food lockers to prevent bears and other wildlife from pillaging your food supply. "

let me start by saying i am, and always will be a Republican. however, i've never been a huge fan of Romney. I am a big fan of Paul Ryan though. hopefully serving as VP will better prepare him for a future presidency.
on another note...too all my fellow republicans on this site...you're wasting your breath trying to argue with Democrats. they will ALWAYS eventually end on the "rich get richer" argument because they are too lazy to actual study the issues and learn what each candidate/party actual stands for.

LMAO that was pretty funny.

Hands down without a doubt have to go with Romney this fall. Couldn't agree more not to argue with Democrats. They don't get it anyway. :) Obama has got to go away. And fast.

What does every one really think mit is going to do for us middle class workers here in iowa?

If he doesn't destroy the country, IMO he's one up on Obama. What has Obama really done besides campaign and constantly try to divide the nation? I just don't see how anyone could support this man.

Our federal gov't really isn't supposed to "do" anything for us. It was supposed to protect us from foreign enemies and our capitalist system was supposed to "let" you be as successful or unsuccessful as you had the luck or hard work to be. Oh, and put some common sense rules in place for banks and the corporate world so they don't run amok. Anyone remember,"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."?
