Which State will be the 1st to move it's gun season out???

It would like to see some changes but it will never happen here in KY. We have alot of deer and the KDFWR wants as many does killed as possible. Where i live and hunt (zone 1 county) it's unlimited does. This year gun season (HP rifles) starts Nov 9th and runs till nov 24th. 16 straight days of...

    Thoughts on this one?

Thanks for the input. This area is hunted hard and right now he's staying right on the property line so he will have to be lucky to survive. I should have doctored the photos so they are easier to see the growth but from 6/30 to 7/6 he added several inches to his beams and is starting to develop...

Thoughts on this one..........1 month later? I've only been running cam's for 2 years and so far this is the best i've gotten. It's really cool to see how quick they grow at this time of year. What are your thoughts on age and potential score? To be honest with my inexperience running cams I...

    spider diagnosis-evaluation

Got bit by what i assume is a recluse 5 years ago. Still have a scar from the bite. Didn't even know I had been bit, woke up one morning with what looked like a pimple on my side, next morning it was a golfball. By that evening darn near a baseball so I went to the hosp. Doc cut me open and put...

    Ohio bowhunting?

Shawnee St. Forest. It would be a big woods hunt in rough and rugged country. Lots of land and plenty of room for a buck to grow big and old. In a populated state it's one of the few places where a buck could die of old age without ever seeing a human.

    Most Overrated Hunting Personality

Sure I would love to hunt the places that these guys get the opportunity to but am I jealous, NO. Would I quit my job in a heartbeat to be a PH, HECK YEA. With that said I would STRIVE to be the most grateful and humble hunter I could. Would I succeed? Probably not. Can't please all the people...

    Most Overrated Hunting Personality

underrated--Winke, i just stumbled across Midwest Whitetails a couple months back and dig the show. ovrerated--Waddel, the guy just gets under my skin. I lost interest back in the early days of Realtree Roadtrips, the way I thought (hoped) the show was going to work was he would travel around...

    Scrape hunting

If I can find a place where the scrapeline runs thru a funnel then it's game on. I killed my 2nd biggest buck while he was checking a scrapeline. This particular scapeline was on a hillside above a small bottoms feeding area. The hillside was covered in cedars and extremely thick but a little...
