I didn't get out hunting tonight bc I got back from pheasant hunting to late but in an hour sittin in my living room I watched over a dozen deer walk right under one of my stands and had a young doe come up 10 yds from my house to feed on the bird feeder. Anyone get out tonight?

When I'm done hunting in the morning I take off my coveralss and coat and set them by my wood burning fire place to dry out. Is having them smell like smoke bad? Or do the deer not really care?

Everyone says that this time of year you've gotta find the food sources an you'll find the deer but all I've got to hunt is straight up timber. How do I find what there eating here?

My family owns about 8 acres where I have stands on, and it connects to a huge timber owned by monks. No one hunts this other than shotgun season but it seems like sturday morning I see all kinds of deer whn it's being pushed, but after that I hardly see anythig in these spots when no ones...

What's the latest you'll walk into your stand in the afternoon? Say it gets dark at 5, what's the latest possible time you'd be getting to your stand?

Do you think that pullin up guns bows and other equiptment ever spools or scares deer?

During shotgun and late muzzleloader season I find it tough to sit much longer than 2 and a half hours before I am almost unbearably cold. How long can you guys sit and any tips for staying warm? Also, is it necessary to get in the woods way before first light in the morning this time of year...
