Got a small 6-point yesterday morning. It was my first with a bowand also my first buck. Shot at about 15yrds, deer ran about 30yrds and dropped. What a rush! I estimated his weight at about 140 lbs.

This was my first year trying turkey hunting so I was pretty excited when I shot my first turkey Friday morning. It was only a jake weighing 15 lbs with a 4 inch beard, but when it presented a shot at 35yrs I couldn't resist. Want to get that first one, now I can go after a bigger one.

My son is 10 years old and I was curious of the regs for youth that age. He is very interested in knowing what I do while I am out. Is they any rules about whether he can just go out and sit next to me while bowhunting. Just planning on sitting on the the ground because I don't have an extra stand.
