For the last couple years my experience has been this. I shoot an 11-87 and was urged by many to shoot a IC with slugs. After testing many boxes of shells my results have me using a MOD with no comparison to the IC.
The Ic threw a pattern all over the place at 50 yds, couldn't believe it...
I just started using the loose powder stuff as I heard bad things about the sticks. I switched from 777. With 100 grs. 250 shockwaves, I had bullet holes that were touching each other at 100 yds.
I also found this stuff way easy to clean. At the range with a wet patch(water was all) and a dry it...
There is a two day bowhunter safety course in August you'll have to go through, also a shooting ability test to past and a safety meeting. You'll have to get ahold of Hartman Reserve (3192772187)to get on the application list for the license app. and course list.
It is a doe management hunt...
Can not comment on the the QS but I like the Blazers. I caused my drop away to drop slow to cause clearance problems. I then shot regular 4" vanes and watched them cork screw down range all the way, I then shot the Blazer and watched it cork screw around once flatten out and fly straight, shot...

I have tried one out this summer. In a slight breeze I found it is still effective, you may have to put it up wind a little though. Yes it does produce some odor and smoke, not to bad. It takes about 10 or 15 mins. to start to work but it really works. I turned it off just to see the difference...
Thanks pharmer. I was looking around on the web and came across this web site quality deer mangement. With some good info on small food plots and I was reading about the biologic stuff. They said that stuff can still be planted. I was thinking maybe I could try it on a 1/4 to 1/2 arce area with...
I thought I read once that one could fertilize natural vegetation to make it sweeter and more appealing to the deer then if left alone. I ask cause I have a small field on the property I hunt with wild grasses growing on it and was wondering if it would make a difference. I have zero experience...
The best light I have used was a car headlight stuck in high beam that I mounted on a carry around box with a small 12v battery, like an icefishing depthfinder. My friends say its my aircraft landing light, you certainly can see . But normally I just use a good ole coleman, think it does work...
