Tordon is the stuff to use. We use them on honey locust and osage orange trees and they do not grow back at all. A little pricey but cheaper than patching holes in tires.

I have seen 1 drop tine buck and i had him at 10 yards and didn't shoot him. He was a young deer, probably 2 1/2 year old. He had a 8 point frame with a 3 inch drop tine on him. That was 2 years ago so hopefully passing on him will pay off this year.

I just heard last night that someone shot him with a bow. I heard he possibly could score 300+. I know I'm throwing more rumors around, but I couldn't wait any longer to see if someone would post something. If anyone has seen him dead or has a pic I'm sure we will all be interested to hear...

I am just interested in possibly getting started in 3D shoots(anything to give me an excuse to shoot my bow more), but i was just wondering what do you actually shoot at them. DO you shoot 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 yard shots or what? I only pull 55 pounds so those longer distances aren't the easiest...

My dad saw a big 170 class typical Friday morning around 8. He was with 2 small bucks and got to about 40 yards but that was it. I haven't seen a deer with anything but a basket rack yet, and thats the only one we've seen although we've got picks of at least 3 bucks that would score 140 at least.
