Last night I had my first encounter with a mature buck. He came in at last light and was unable to see pins to shoot. He blew my decoy up witch is also a first for me. My question is since he hit decoy and ran is it worth putting decoy back out in same area or will he be scared of it now?

Anyone know the rules on elevated blinds I read where blinds on ground need 144" of orange visible from all sides but does that apply for blinds off the ground ? Mine is little over 8' up.

Noticed scrapes are fresh in area and new rubs. What time do you think they are hitting them? Is this the bucks marking territory for the remainder of the does? I was in timber moving stand around 11:00 when noticed.

Once the bucks get locked down with does how long does it take before the action heats up again?. It's a real ghost town in my neck of woods.

Anyone have trouble installing the plot stalker program on their computer? When installing it says instalation complete and sucsessful but when try to open program it gives me error comdlg32.ocx not correctly installed or missing file. Hope its something I am doing and not the disk.

Really enjoyed the rubbing tree pics from last year. I plan on installing a rubbing tree or two when should I stick tree in ground.

Just wondering what people have been seeing for activity around food plots and picked fields? With the weather being so warm has the deer activity been any good? Have not had time to check cameras. What a weird late season.

Anyone tried Mid West Food Plots? Bought some at the classic this year and got it in just in time. Plot looks good turnips are golf ball size or bigger and taste great too:) But have yet to see much activity yet. Hoping they hit It late muzzy season. Plot size is around acre and half.

Well had best day yet seen movement most of day took a break from noon till two. Went back and moved stand fifty yards and set decoy out as a doe. Had does and fawns under me from three till dark or until they busted me drawing on the big guy that was at ten yards broadside looking at decoy. I...

What is the time frame on using a decoy? I have been using one lately with no luck bucks did not seem to care. Just look and walk away.
