bringing the bow up into your stand

I pack all my gear in with an Eberlestock X1. I used the Liberty 1 this season and it fits right in the pack, along with the quiver. I don't have anything in my hands climbing up to or climbing down from the stand. It's all on my back.

    .17 HMR Opinions

I have a Savage 93R17. Awesome inside 100-150yards, with little to no wind. The HMR is really not a round one should use for anything larger than a ground hog. Yeah it's fast but it's projectile is less that 20 grains in most cases. WAY too small or clean...

So I am a little confused

I'm with Jake....love them big 8's! SW, I wasn't getting down on you for your comment at all....hope it didn't come across that way. If you have bigger 8's running around there..... we'd love to see some pics if you can get them. Wow!

So I am a little confused

Not the same deer. Related maybe, but not the same. The crabs on the sheds and nothing on the recent pics are screaming that. I'm not sure what your definition of hog is, but that deer is worthy of anyone's wall.

    A few videos for you.

The videos were recorded on high resolution at 16FPS. The videos in the post are not the original files, but compressed versions uploaded to Photobucket. The video's quality is degraded when they are compressed for upload.

A lot of talk about the Scout Guard SG550

Thanks for bringing the remote up....I can't believe I ommitted that. The 500 and the 550 are programed with a remote as opposed to buttons on the cam itself. Navigating the menu and making adjustments to setting is simple and straight forward. Arming the camera is simple as well.....turn it...

A lot of talk about the Scout Guard SG550

I've been reading a lot of posts as of late with questions pertaining to the SG550. I'll try to answer all the questions I've read so far here. Trigger time? 1.2 sec. With my experience so far, some are a little faster and some a little slower. No way for me to accurately quantify those...

    Need video help

You could always take the tape to a photographer/videographer that makes his $ shooting weddings. They usually offer digital conversion services as well. Once you get the (I assume)VHS tape converted to a disc, you can easily edit it with Windows Movie Maker. If you are running a fairly new...

    Blade

Good God! I agree with SEIowaDeerslayer....350. I live here in Iowa and we get some pigs.....but nothing like that. Sask deer are amazing, plain and simple. My neighbor and his wife hunt up there every year. He's got walls full of dead beasts and all the deer they harvest up there are a...
